AI in Healthcare: AI Company Launches Data Project to Predict Spread of Viruses

Amy Baxter of AI in Healthcare reports on Jvion’s new data analysis project to identify patterns tied to the spread of viruses causing acute respiratory illness, informing COVID-19 readiness strategies for hospitals, health systems and communities. Jvion’s preliminary analysis, which looked at more than two million patients and their risks of acquiring infection leading to end organ damage, were consistent with other research into COVID-19, and uncovered additional social factors that put patients at risk.
