Optima Health Selects Jvion’s RevEgis Predictive Modeling and Advanced Analytics Platform

Atlanta, GA, September 23, 2015 -- Optima Health, a leading insurer serving the greater Virginia area, recently selected predictive analytics pacesetter Jvion and the firm’s RevEgis platform to help drive improvements in physician quality reporting and utilization. RevEgis will help Optima Health collect, measure, report, and manage quality outcomes, cost, and utilization across the organization.

As the insurer of choice for more than 449,000 members throughout Virginia, Optima Health provides a broad spectrum of products and service solutions designed to support employers, employees, and their families. Through a progressive approach to wellness, the insurer drives chronic illness management, customized wellness programs, and integrated clinical and behavioral health services to help improve the lives and health of their members.

Dr. Lundquist, Chief Medical Officer for Optima Health said, “With the insights gained through Jvion’s solution, Optima Health will be better able to manage costs, drive quality outcomes, and promote a clinically integrated network of care for our members. This tool, and the analytic and predictive capabilities that come with it, will help us further our commitment to improving health every day.”

The physician quality reporting and utilization delivered through RevEgis will help Optima Health drive visibility into physician utilization and enable peer-to-peer as well as benchmark comparisons. The solution will also provide views into quality metrics and compliance monitoring. Taken together, the overall aim is to help Optima Health reduce the cost of care, drive greater care coordination, and improve health outcomes.

Ritesh Sharma, Jvion’s COO, commented on the win saying, “We are thrilled to be working with Optima Health on this important initiative. This is a great opportunity to apply Jvion’s leading predictive and deep analytic capabilities so that we drive care quality, reduce costs, and support the health of so many Virginians.”
